Whispered Skirmish
Jewel Akiyama is a genetically engineered light combat morph based on an arctic fox phenotype, created and programmed as an infiltration specialist. Originally intended as a toy for a sadistic human to break. He failed. Now that morphs are classified as sentient beings and protected by Sol’s antislavery laws, Jewel finds a new home helping to free other morphs still held against their will.
The Interstellar Morph Manufacturing Company says that the morphs are nothing more than organic computers programmed with advanced artificial intelligence. They see Jewel as a direct threat and want to abolish Sol’s Anthromorph Freedom Act. The Zuanshi Xing government declares that all morphs, by treaties and patents, are property of IMMC, and rogue units will be destroyed.
Can Jewel free other morphs while fending off the IMMC? Or will she be their next victim and how anti-morph groups will get the Freedom Act repealed?
